HXIT Achieved Good Results in Digital Art & Design Awards

Recently, the organizing committee of the NCDA announced the list of winners. The teachers and students of School of Art& Design and Communication of HXIT won 29 awards, including 4 first prizes, 11 second prizes and 12 third prizes in the Hubei Province competition; In the national final competition, HXIT won two second prizes, demonstrating the strong professional ability of art design of our students.

NCDA is a high-level national professional event sponsored by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and has been held for ten consecutive years. Every year, many college students participate it. The "Student Group" and "Teacher Group" competitions are one of the important competitions in the reform of education and teaching in colleges and universities and the cultivation of innovative talents. They have a wide influence and have been reported by many authoritative media and praised by United Nations agencies.

It is reported that NCDA adheres to the concept of "design for the people, training future designers". It encourages university students to actively participate in innovative design, use their professional knowledge to serve society, expand their international vision, cultivate teamwork spirit, and make them to be the main designers of the future. Therefore, it not only tests the participating students' understanding of design and sustainable human development, but also opens their eyes to the future development trend of design.

HXIT attaches great importance to the tripartite integration of "teaching", "practical training" and "competition", and has encouraged students to actively participate in various national and provincial academic competitions to cultivate more professional talents for the development of the regional economy.

This competition effectively enriched the practical experience of School of Art&Design and Communication students about art and design, and stimulated students to think about design serving people, design passing on culture, and design improving the environment. It is also conducive to promoting the enhancement of talent training level of applied universities and improving the quality of talent training in HXIT.
