On March 30th, the interdisciplinary salon on production-education integration titled "Chinese Path to Modernization: Technological Innovation Reshaping Chinese Intellectual Manufacturing" was successfully held, jointly organized by the General Education Center, the Research Department, Xiangchen Data Studio, HXIT Soft Union Studio, and the Smart Education Studio. The salon was honored to have Dr. Yu Gongliang, a research fellow at the Institute of Hydrobiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, who delivered an in-depth presentation on the theme "Chinese Path to Modernization: Technological Innovation Reshaping Chinese Intellectual Manufacturing." The event focused on the applications of artificial intelligence in various fields, showcasing the new face and outstanding achievements of China in the field of technological innovation.

Dr. Yu Gongliang elaborated extensively on the crucial role of AI technology in various fields such as algae identification, fish population and behavior monitoring, smart aquaculture, biopharmaceuticals, medical imaging and diagnostics, land use, and farmland monitoring. Firstly, He introduced the application of AI in algae identification systems. He mentioned that through continuous research and development efforts, researchers have successfully launched the Algapro plankton algae intelligent automatic identification system. This system significantly improves the monitoring frequency and warning efficiency of algae, providing solid technological support for water quality security work. Additionally, he stated that with the help of intelligent monitoring systems, we can track the migration and breeding status of fish in real-time, providing a strong basis for the scientific management and protection of fisheries resources. Furthermore, intelligent warning systems can predict fish dynamics, helping fishermen take timely measures to ensure the smooth operation of fishing activities.

Subsequently, Dr. Yu pointed out that in the field of smart aquaculture, AI technology has been widely used in the cultivation of crayfish. By accurately monitoring key factors such as water quality and feed feeding, significant improvements in cultivation efficiency have been achieved, reducing cultivation risks. In the fields of biopharmaceuticals and medical imaging diagnostics, AI technology, through deep learning and big data analysis, can assist doctors in making more accurate diagnoses, providing strong support for disease treatment. In the field of land use and farmland monitoring, he introduced the application of AI+ remote sensing technology in farmland protection.

Finally, Dr. Yu looked ahead to the future development trends of brain-machine integration technology and the Chinese chip industry. He believes that with the continuous advancement of technology, brain-machine interfaces will play an increasingly important role in areas such as medical health and industrial production, while the rise of the Chinese chip industry will provide powerful momentum for technological innovation.

The successful holding of this interdisciplinary salon on production-education integration fully showcased China's fruitful achievements in the field of technological innovation and provided guidance for the future development of intelligent manufacturing in China.
