May 29 marked the 22nd founding anniversary of HXIT. Centered on the theme Inheritance, Innovation, Progress, the celebration was the first anniversary event since HXIT launched its dual-campus layout covering Guanggu and Wutonghu. A host of synchronized activities were held across both campuses to showcase HXIT’s educational achievements and campus vitality.

Multiple milestone accomplishments were unveiled during HXIT’s celebration. The second-phase dormitory project at Wutonghu Campus was topped out to improve campus infrastructure and underpin coordinated dual-campus development. HXIT’s Association for Science and Technology was officially inaugurated with its first committee and leadership elected, aiming to boost technological innovation, integrate industry with education and fuel regional economic growth.

Meanwhile, HXIT’s Seeking Beauty · Craftsman Spirit intangible cultural heritage exhibition displayed over 100 student artworks, embodying the outcomes of all-round competency-based education. Birthday galas gathered faculty and students on both campuses. Four outstanding PhD alumni returned to share experiences and were appointed student development mentors.

Furthermore,an international academic salon focused on practical applications of large language models to broaden participants’ academic horizons.The anniversary recapitulates HXIT’s 22 years of development and signals a new starting point. Upholding its founding mission, HXIT will deepen internal construction and advance coordinated dual-campus development for high-quality education advancement.
