比赛宣言：I TIME, I WRITE

English news writing competition begins!

It is easy, only a pen in your hand, and write!

Write what?

Write a stone, write a piece of grass, write the air, write the sky…..

Write basketball, write football, write dancing, write singing, write Gangnam Style……

Write chatting, write arguing, write saying sorry……

Write being-together, write separation, write love….

Write the spring, write the winter, write the autumn, write the summer,……

Write yesterday, write today, write tomorrow……

Write laughing, write tearing…..

Write the steps, missing ,under the feet…..

Write the history , only of I…….

With words, with photos…..

为给师生提供一个英语写作实践的平台，提高大家运用英语的实际能力，推动院系宣传工作更好的发展，外语系12级教研室将举办首届英语新闻写作大赛。希望2012级新生（非英专）和相关英语教学老师踊跃参加。比赛时间定为本学期十一周至十六周（11月12日-12月23日）。参赛选手可以以此时间段内的校园生活点滴为素材，撰写300字左右的英文新闻。内容包括但不限于：院系动态，师生风采、社团活动、班级趣事、校园轶事、、讲座感悟、校园生活等。

要求：写作内容真实客观，杜绝抄袭和杜撰。所写新闻要基本符合新闻写作的规范，争取表达准确、立意新颖。所写新闻稿件最好能配上相应图片。

活动的开展以各班级为单位，每周五前将本周的新闻稿件交给各班级任课的英语老师。举办此次竞赛活动的外语系12级教研室将成立评委会。评委会将根据参赛选手作品质量评出一、二、三等奖及优秀奖，对获奖者颁发证书及奖品。积极参与组织班级新闻写作和指导的老师也将获得相应的指导奖和组织奖。此外，每周优秀新闻稿件将刊登在外语系网站，至十六周末在优秀新闻稿件中总体评选出一、二、三等奖及相关奖项。
