It’s universally acknowledged that filial piety is the traditional virtue of China. When we were kids, we know that we should look up to the elder. There is a student who studies in my college——Huaxia College. He has done something that moved all of us. There is no doubt that he has been the model of our teenagers.

He is Liu Pulin, an ordinary college student. His family is very poor. The sole income of his family roots in his mother, a laborious cleaner. She has to clean the 400 meters street every day. When the stars are in the sky, she has already started her work. No matter how dirty the street was, no matter how cold the weather was, no matter how tired she was, she still got up early and cleaned the street. After Liu Pulin entered the college, he had time to help his mother clean the street. As soon as he finished his homework at weekend, he rushed out of school to replace his mother. In this way his mother could rest and relax two days. “Don’t you think that it is very embarrassing for a college student to clean the street?” The reporter asked. “No, I don’t think so. At first, I am my mother’s son. It is my duty to help my mother to clean the street. Secondly, all jobs have their value. None of them is useless. My mother can do it, so can I.” Liu Pulin said.

What Liu Pulin said has really moved all of us. There is no doubt that his piety wakened some people who treated their parents badly. I will think of Liu Pulin when I complain about my parents’ chatter, when I can’t understand my parents’ worries, and when I argue with my parents.

After learning the story of Liu Pulin, I realized that all of us should treat our patents friendly，for there is only a father and a mother in the world. No one would love us like them. Without them, we can not come to and in the world now. Liu Pulin has really set a good example for our college students, and his event will leave a deep impression on everybody’s heart.
