The final basketball match between Chemical Engineering Class 1101 and 1121 took place on November 12^th. It was held by the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering Department. To my expectation, class 1121 was the champion.

In brief, the match was truly exciting. In the first session, class 1121 took the lead of three points. But class 1101 was unwilling to lose. So they made fierce attack to the basket and finally they won 4 points at the end of the second session. It was time for basketball halftime, and the score was 26 to 22. It seems that class 1101 had better chance to win.

However, the outcome wasn’t as what we had anticipated. There was no doubt that the second half was far more thrilling than the first. Their scores were neck and neck, but class 1121 were ambitious. So they became the team who laughed to the last. When four trickles left on the game clock, class 1121 dribbled out the time. The final score was 32 to 35. Without doubt, the Most Valuable Player was forward---Zhang Shaonan of class 1121. Congratulations to class 1121.

Looking through the whole match, it was hard to say which team was better. Each side tried their best. They showed us the spirit of unity and they dared to fight for the honor. So we can’t help clapping our hands to both sides of them to thank them for having given us such a wonderful match.
