Recently, the good news came from Hubei Provincial Language Commission that HXIT students' classical recitation work "Wish You Peace" won the second prize in the college group of Hubei Provincial Final of the Fourth Chinese Classical Recitation, Writing and Speaking Contest "Recite China", which fulfill the zero breakthrough of HXIT in the provincial-level language and writing work. HXIT is the only school among private universities and colleges in the province to win the prize.

The competition was held on April 15, 2022, with sub-regions set up in each province. The language committee of HXIT attached great importance to it after receiving the notice, and assigned Huang Cheng, vice dean of HXIT of Continuing Education and director of the Mandarin testing station, to organize a special meeting to study and arrange the related participation work. Under the leadership of instructors Zhang Peijie and Wang Lili, the participants of HXIT radio station successfully advanced to the final round and reaped good results through nearly one month of rehearsal training.

This competition, sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the National Language Commission, is one of the brand activities of the Chinese Classical Recitation Project, which aims to lead the public, especially the youth, to draw wisdom from Chinese classics, strengthen their ideals and beliefs, manifest the spirit of the times, show the inheritance and innovation of Chinese classics, and create a good atmosphere for celebrating the victory of the 20th Party Congress.
