Recently, the Department of Education of Hubei Province announced the Notice of the Provincial Department of Education on Publishing the Provincial Teaching and Research Projects of Hubei Universities in 2022. HXIT’s seven projects, including the "Exploration and Practice of the Talent Training Model of the Information Technology Industry College in the Context of New Engineering", have been successfully approved at the provincial level, with a record number of projects approved, ranking first among the private-funded universities in Hubei Province.

HXIT has always attached great importance to teaching research and teaching reform, and actively organized the recommendation work. The seven provincial projects are rich in themes, closely follow the development direction and hot spots of higher education reform, pay attention to the combination of theory and practice, have a certain degree of overall, forward-looking and innovative, and set a new high in the number of provincial teaching reform research projects approved by HXIT in recent years.

Li Cai, assistant principal and minister of the Ministry of Education, said that HXIT would organize the construction and implementation of the project according to the requirements of the Provincial Department of Education, strengthen the project management, and ensure the high-quality completion of the project. At the same time, take this opportunity to continuously promote the reform of teaching concepts, methods and means, strive to cultivate excellent teaching and research achievements, promote the promotion and application of project achievements in teaching practice, and achieve the goal of guiding practice with theory, enriching theory with practice, and effectively improve the quality of talent cultivation.
