Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the filing and approval results of undergraduate majors in colleges and universities in 2022. The undergraduate program of physical education of HXIT has been successfully approved, and will be officially enrolled in the fall of 2023, with a duration of 4 years, and a bachelor's degree in education will be awarded.

Physical education major aims to cultivate outstanding physical education teachers with firm political beliefs, well-rounded development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor, high professional ethics, sound personality cultivation, solid knowledge of physical education disciplines, skilled sports skills and outstanding education and teaching ability, and can be competent at physical education, health education, after-school physical exercise and training guidance, sports competition organization and management in primary and secondary schools, preschool education and vocational education schools. The major has a good student source foundation, employment export, and broad market prospects.
