On May 8th, HXIT held the "Hubei Industry Professor" appointment ceremony and unveiled the "Hubei Industry Professor" studio in the Academic Lecture Hall. President Wu Yongqiao, Hubei Industry Professor Shu Qinye, Lu Shenglong from Jack Sewing Machine Co., Ltd., teachers, as well as student representatives, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Ding Chengzhong.

Liu Meiyun read out the "Notice on the List of Selected 'Hubei Industry Professors' for 2022" issued by the Office of the Talent Working Group of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Hubei Provincial Department of Education. Shu Qinye, the Industry Professor of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Executive Deputy Dean of the Central Research Institute of Jack Sewing Machine Co., Ltd., was selected. Assistant to the President and Minister of Human Resources Liu Meiyun stated that he is the first Hubei Industry Professor of HXIT, which will contribute to various aspects of talent cultivation, collaborative research, and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, laying a foundation for deepening the integration of industry and education and nurturing high-level talents.

On behalf of HXIT, Wu Yongqiao warmly welcomed Dr. Shu Qinye, the appointed "Hubei Industry Professor," and presented him with the appointment letter.

Subsequently, Wu Yongqiao and Shu Qinye unveiled the "Hubei Industry Professor Studio" together.
