On November 29, the Hubei Provincial Department of Education announced the results of the 2023 provincial first-class undergraduate courses, and 11 courses including "Digital Video Creation" were recognized as provincial first-class undergraduate courses. Among them, there are 2 first-class courses in social practice, 7 first-class courses in online and offline blended courses, and 2 first-class offline courses.

In recent years, HXIT has attached great importance to benchmarking first-class curriculum construction standards, and vigorously promoted the connotation construction and high-quality development of undergraduate courses. Up to now, HXIT has 1 national first-class undergraduate course and 31 provincial first-class undergraduate courses.

HXIT will give full play to the demonstration and leading role of first-class undergraduate courses, increase the reform and innovation of curriculum construction, establish and improve the incentive mechanism for curriculum construction, create more first-class courses with high-level, innovative and challenging degrees, comprehensively improve the level of curriculum construction and the quality of talent training, and achieve high-quality connotative development.
