On the afternoon of April 24th, the HuaXia Translation Studio and its Language Training Workshop held a postgraduate entrance examination experience sharing meeting. Yang Xi, the former studio team leader, who has been admitted to the English Language and Literature program at Dalian Foreign Languages University, to share her exam preparation experiences. The whole membership of Studio attend the meeting.
Yang Xi first introduced herself simply and shared her academic achievements during the time in HXIT. Then, she narrated her journey with the Studio, explaining how she knew the studio and became a member, eventually growing to lead the team. She also shared insights on the activities, programs, and her managerial and work experiences.
Yang Xi continued by sharing her postgraduate entrance examination experience from six aspects: choosing a major and school, planning for revisions, time management, efficient revision strategies, adjusting one's mindset, and sharing of materials. She advised students to be cautious in choosing the major and school, to regularly adjust their study plan, and to create a feasible learning and review plan for themselves. Yang Xi emphasized that while hard work is important, making the right choices is crucial, and that adjusting one's attitude and using appropriate methods to manage anxiety are also beneficial for exam preparation.
Finally, during the Q&A session, students asked many questions, and she answered them all individually. She encouraged everyone to build a solid foundation and pursue their dreams with confidence.
