On July 31, the Department of Social Science of the Ministry of Education released the Announcement of the Evaluation Results of the General Projects of Humanities and Social Sciences Research of the Ministry of Education in 2024. The project “Research on the Symbiosis Evolution and Governance Mechanism of Multiple Entities in the city-area Industry-education Consortium from the Perspective of Resource Dependence” declared by professor Wu Na from the School of Business, and the project “Design of risk and ethical norms Model for the application of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education” declared by professor Yuan Liping from the School of Information Engineering were both approved for the planning fund project. This is the first time that HXIT has been approved by the Ministry of Education Humanities And Social Science planning fund project, and the number of projects Ranks first in the province’s private colleges.
Professor Wu Na’s project provides a new path for school-enterprise cooperation by strengthening the links between the entities of government, industry, education, science and innovation, which is conducive to the in-depth process of collaborative education of industries and enterprises and the improvement of regional collaborative innovation ability. It provides theoretical reference for promoting the integration of industry and education and the in-depth development of school-enterprise cooperation, and promoting the sustainable development of city-area industry and education consortium.
Professor Yuan Liping’s project adopts interdisciplinary methods, and builds a risk classification system in educational ethics, legal regulation, technical safety, social impact and other aspects. The formation of an ethical model including value orientation, rights and responsibilities of responsible subjects, implementation guarantee mechanism, etc., provides a practical path for the compliant application and high-quality application of generative artificial intelligence in higher education.
Since 2022, under the guidance of the work guidelines of strengthening organized scientific research, innovating scientific research paradigms and organizational models, the formation mechanism of HXIT scientific research projects has achieved remarkable results.
