Recently, The 8th "Milan Design Monday Exhibition of Excellent Works by Chinese University Design Teachers and Students" came to a successful conclusion. HXIT won the first prize of the national level in the design exhibition, once again demonstrating HXIT's outstanding strength and innovative spirit in the field of art and design.

In this exhibition, teachers and students from the School of Art, Design and Media at HXIT won a total of 7 national level awards and 43 provincial level awards, achieving outstanding results. Especially on the non topic track, student Yu Pingyue's "Creative Design of the 'Xilan Kapu' Graphic Pattern" won the first prize of the national level. The work cleverly integrates the patterns of the traditional Tujia brocade 'Xilan Kapu' with modern cultural and creative design. By telling the story of the Tujia girl 'Xilan', it demonstrates the harmonious coexistence of tradition and modernity, and has won high praise from the judges.

In the provincial competition, HXIT also performed outstandingly and won first, second, third prizes. Our works cover a wide range of fields and comprehensively demonstrate the strength of the design discipline. HXIT adheres to the educational philosophy of "promoting teaching, research, learning, and improvement through competitions", and encourages students to participate in various design competitions to enhance their practical abilities and innovative thinking. This award is not only a recognition of the achievements of HXIT's design education, but also the result of the joint efforts of teachers and students.

Looking ahead to the future, HXIT will continue to uphold the spirit of "innovation, practice, and excellence", strengthen international and domestic exchanges and cooperation, continuously enhance the visibility and influence of the design discipline.
