On August 24-25, 2024, the "2024 Intelligent Language Engineering Empowering Translation to Improve Quality and Efficiency Seminar" was held in Huaibei City, Anhui Province. The director of Department of International Affairs and Dean of the School of International Education, Xiao Fenghua along with her delegation, participated in the event.

During the seminar, Du Nan, Vice Director of the Translation Industry Department of the Translation Institute of the China Foreign Languages Administration (Secretariat of the China Translation Association), Associate Professor Guan Xinchao from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Associate Professor Zhang Jin from Wuhan Institute of Technology, and Professor Wang Huashu from Beijing Foreign Studies University, all delivered presentations on intelligent language technology, English, and translation; Yin Bai'en, a specially appointed human-machine co-translation consultant for Chuanshen (and founder of Zhiwu Defense Think Tank), also shared insights on the practical applications of digital twin technology in the era of human-machine co-translation.
