From November 15th to 17th, the 15th Honda China Energy-Saving Competition was held at the Zhuhai International Circuit. The Huayao Dream Chasing Team from HXIT achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the second prize in the national competition, marking the best performance in HXIT's history.

During the preparation phase, the team members and their instructors dedicated significant time and effort, focusing on every detail from theoretical calculations to car production and testing. Striving for perfection, they ensured the vehicle was both lightweight and met all safety performance standards. In the practice runs, the team carried out vehicle inspections and debugging with precision and speed, and made thorough preparations for the main event.

On competition day, heavy rain added unforeseen challenges. However, the team stayed composed, actively addressing unexpected problems. Their perseverance paid off as they successfully passed all vehicle inspection tests and secured the second prize.

This competition not only provided the team with an invaluable experience but also served as a platform for exchange with university and corporate teams. It enabled them to learn about the latest advancements in energy-saving technologies and gather insights for future optimization. Instructor Xiang Shaoqing emphasized that this achievement reflects the dedication and team spirit of the members and expressed hope that it would inspire more students to join the team and strive for even greater accomplishments in the future.

It is worth noting that the competition featured 80 teams from across the country, including strong contenders such as Jilin University and Beijing Institute of Technology.
