On April 29, a donation ceremony was held at the Liangzihu Campus of HXIT. Liu Siqian, a 2010 alumnus and General Manager of Foshan Manya Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., donated high-quality eco-friendly coatings worth RMB 216,000 to his alma mater, exclusively for the renovation and construction of freshman dormitories. HXIT's President Wu Yongqiao and other school leaders attended the ceremony, along with alumni enterprise representatives and department heads. Guo Jie, Director of the Alumni Association Office, presided over the event.

Guo Jie introduced that Liu, a 2010 graduate of the School of Business's Marketing major, has long cared about his alma mater. The donation reflects his gratitude and support for hometown development. In his speech, Liu recalled his campus days, stating, "My alma mater laid a solid foundation for my life and career," and hoped the coatings would create a more comfortable living environment for students. He also announced plans to deepen cooperation with HXIT in talent cultivation, internships, employment, and scientific innovation, especially in green building and artificial intelligence.

Vice President Hu Shuibing expressed sincere thanks on behalf of HXIT, emphasizing that the donation demonstrated alumni gratitude and corporate social responsibility, affirming the HXIT’s educational achievements and serving as a vital support. President Wu Yongqiao presented Liu with a donation certificate amid warm applause, honoring his contribution.

All attendees took a group photo in front of the donated materials to mark the occasion. Guo Jie noted that the donation had strengthened the emotional bond between alumni and HXIT, calling for more collaborative efforts to advance education and talent cultivation.
