Four Social Practice Teams of HXIT Selected as National-level Voluntary Service Teams

On June 19th, the Youth Volunteer Action Guidance Center of the Communist Youth League Central Committee announced the list of selected teams for the 2025 National College Students Voluntary Service Projects. With solid practical achievements and distinctive service features, four teams of HXIT were successfully selected as national-level voluntary service teams, demonstrating the educational effectiveness in the fields of practical education and voluntary service.

Among the four selected teams, the Summer Flower Voluntary Service Practice Team and the "Zhuyang Huakai" Voluntary Service Team were selected for the "Colorful Vacation" Voluntary Service Project. This project, initiated by units such as the Youth Volunteer Action Guidance Center of the Communist Youth League Central Committee and other units，selects 1000 teams from universities across the country, focusing on summer care services. Meanwhile, the "Red Star Longitude and Latitude" Volunteer Propaganda Group and the "Lixing Reading Club" Hong'an Practice Team were selected for the "Two Bombs and One Satellite" Spirit Volunteer Propaganda Group. This project, jointly promoted by the Communist Youth League Central Committee and the China National Nuclear Corporation, aims to inherit the spirit of patriotism and strengthening the nation and inspire the enthusiasm of young people for serving the country.

Pan Jing, Secretary of HXIT’s Youth League Committee, stated that this selection is an important achievement of the "Voluntary Service + Practical Education" model. In the future, HXIT’s Youth League Committee will take policies as guidance, deepen the standardized construction of voluntary services, and attract more young people to engage in voluntary services by summarizing experiences and innovating models. The selection of four teams for national-level projects is not only an affirmation of voluntary service work but also builds a broad platform for young students to practice their ideals and hone their skills, helping the power of youth shine in fields needed by the country.
