Recently, at the Wuying Sub-forum of the Hangzhou Yunqi Conference, the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) launched the "IITC AI Training Cloud Platform." HXIT was selected as one of the first pilot institutions, and Zhao Jing, Associate Dean of the School of Information Engineering, attended the ceremony to accept the accreditation on behalf of the HXIT.


During the event, Zhao Jing participated in representatives from universities and enterprises across China in the platform launch and certification ceremony. The delegation also visited the Yunqi Expo and Alibaba Group to observe cutting-edge advancements in AI and innovative practices in industry-academia collaboration.
Zhao Jing stated that selection as a pilot institution affirms the HXIT’s commitment to cultivating AI talent. She stated that the school will leverage this national platform to better align curricula with industry needs, enhance students' practical skills and innovative capabilities, and supply high-quality, application-oriented AI professionals to support the growth of the regional digital economy.

The platform is developed jointly by the MIIT Talent Exchange Center, Alibaba Cloud, and Hubei Yikangsi, the platform aims to provide an open and shared digital training environment featuring real-world industrial data and case studies. Built on advanced cloud computing, it establishes an end-to-end AI talent ecosystem—spanning "demand, standards, cultivation, evaluation, and employment," in order to implement the National Education Power Outline and the "AI+" initiative.
