On September 28th, the Military Training Achievement Display and Summary Commendation Ceremony for the 2025 freshmen of HXIT was held at the sports field of Wutong Lake Campus. Colonel Zhang Shuo, Battalion Commander of the School of Electronic Engineering of the Naval University of Engineering, all HXIT’s leaders, heads of relevant units, and all 2025 freshmen attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Ding Chengzhong.

At 8:30 a.m., after the flag-raising ceremony, the display of military training achievements kicked off: 23 phalanxes of freshmen marched past the rostrum with firm and sonorous steps; more than 1,000 freshmen gave a military boxing performance with overwhelming momentum; over 400 freshmen held colored flags and changed formations to express their patriotism while the song When That Day Comes was played; under the leadership of counselors and freshmen representatives, more than 3,000 students present sang I Love You, China in unison, pushing the atmosphere to a climax.











Li Haimin, Vice President, made a summary. He expressed his gratitude to the instructors, freshmen and faculty members, and hoped that the freshmen would promote their growth and dedication to the motherland with the good style formed during military training. Ding Dezhi, read out the commendation decision and commended outstanding companies, students and other awardees. The leaders present awarded prizes to the representatives and took group photos with them.President Wu Yongqiao presented a silk banner to the Naval University of Engineering to express gratitude for its 15 years of support.









This military training lasted 14 days. It was conducted in accordance with the training syllabus, integrated ideological and political education as well as patriotic education, and offered lectures on military theory, traffic safety and fire safety to enhance students' awareness of national defense and comprehensive literacy.
