On June 18th, the 2023 graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony of HXIT were held at the playground. All of teaching staff and representatives of the 2023 Valedictorian attended. 

The opening ceremony was delivered by President Wu Yongqiao. He first sent the congratulations and the best wishes to the graduates, and deeply recalled the unforgettable moments of the past four years when students and Huaxia studied together and grew up. Over the past four years, students faced epidemic, participated in various competitions actively, achieved breakthrough one after another, fully demonstraing the charm and strength of contemporary college students. Facing the graduating students who are going to embark on a new journey , Wu Yongqiao sends his wishes: firstly, he hopes that students can become the person with a sense of patriotism, closely connect their ideals with the needs of the motherland and the people, develop skills, serve the people with genuine talent and practical learning, and selflessly contribute to the country; Secondly, he hope that students can become the person who can do well and achieve success, practice HXIT motto and become people who combine knowledge and action and have strong willpower; The third is to hope that students will become lifelong learning person. 

Then Ding Dezhi, the secretary of the Party Committee, issued a certificate to outstanding Valedictorian. Guo Yan, the representative of the 2023 Valedictorian and the 2019 undergraduate School of Foreign Languages, came to the stage to speak as an outstanding graduate. She promised that she would always practice the motto of HXIT , inherit the red gene, carry forward the spirit of the Times, and achieve better results in the future.

The Valedictorian send the flowers to the faculty to express his gratitude and love for teachers. Subsequently, the secretaries of the Party branches of each school issued certificates to the alumni representatives. All graduates sang 'Our Tomorrow' and 'Crystal Sky of Yesterday' during the degree ceremony. At last, graduates dressed in bachelor's uniforms taking the stage one by one. President Wu Yongqiao and the deans of all schools are turning the tassel taking a group photo to mark the graduation ceremony. With the end of the ear picking ceremony of the last Valedictorian, the 2023 graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony came to a perfect end.
