It's worth noting that this competition is one of the nine major academic competitions in the country and is the highest-level, largest-scale, and most prestigious innovation competition for students in the field of civil engineering. The competition attracted over a thousand teams from universities nationwide, and after fierce competition, a total of 118 universities and 119 teams advanced to the final round.

The competition focused on a real engineering problem, simulating a bridge pier collision accident. Teams had to draw design parameters by lot, conduct on-site calculations, create structural models, and perform tests. This innovative competition format increased the challenge and suspense of the event. Furthermore, unlike previous editions, this competition utilized a new method of loading with multiple rows of vehicles produced by 3D printing, enhancing the visual appeal.
