On the afternoon of March 19th, the "Tiantu Tongxun" Scholarship donation ceremony was held in the school. Chen Cheng, an outstanding alumni of the 2011 year from Accounting Department of Business School, and General Manager of Shenzhen Tiantu Tongxun Supply Chain Co., Ltd., initiated and established the "Tiantu Tongxun" Scholarship, donating the first batch of 100,000 yuan to HXIT. It is reported that the purpose of this donation project is to assist economically disadvantaged students in the School of Business. Starting from 2024, 100,000 yuan will be allocated annually.

President and Chairman of the HXIT Education Foundation Wu Yongqiao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President, and President of the HXIT Alumni Association Li Haimin attended the donation ceremony. Cheng Yanxia, Dean of the Business School, representatives of faculty from the School of Business, alumni, and representatives of enterprises also participated. The ceremony was chaired by Guo Jie, Deputy Director of the Party and Government Affairs Office and Director of the Alumni Office.

Chen Cheng expressed gratitude to his alma mater in his speech and promised to continue supporting public welfare undertakings. Cheng Yanxia was moved by the donation and stated that the scholarship would inject impetus into the development of the school. She also promised to continue serving alumni and promoting school-enterprise cooperation.

Li Haimin thanked Chen Cheng for his donation and believed that the scholarship not only alleviated economic difficulties but also sparked students' enthusiasm for learning. Wu Yongqiao presented the donation certificate on behalf of the university. Guo Jie stated that this event demonstrated the connection between alumni and the HXIT, showcasing alumni's sense of social responsibility.
