On September 25, 2025, a donation ceremony was held at HXIT's Wutong Lake Campus, where Foshan Manya Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., represented by our alumnus Liu Siqian, donated high-quality eco-friendly paint for the renovation of the new campus student dormitories. In recognition of this contribution, HXIT installed a donor plaque monument in the courtyard between Student Dormitories 2 and 3, honoring Liu Siqian's exceptional support for his alma mater.
Liu Siqian, a 2010 Marketing graduate of HXIT and now Chairman of Manya Construction Investment (Guangdong) Development Co., Ltd., built a strong professional foundation during his studies through dedicated engagement in marketing theory and actively organizing and participating in campus marketing competitions. After graduation, he began his career in an entry-level marketing position and steadily advanced through the business world. He went on to establish several companies and, in 2022, founded Manya Construction Investment (Guangdong) Development Co., Ltd., achieving a business model characterized by group-level management and a multi-industrial chain integration. He further participated in infrastructure development projects, continuously expanding his business footprint and emerging as a notable rising force in the industry.
While growing his enterprise, Liu has remained committed to giving back. He actively engages in public-benefit infrastructure initiatives and emphasizes university-industry collaboration. By sharing his personal journey, he imparts to current students a growth philosophy of "mastering one's profession and daring to venture and strive," passing on a spirit of perseverance.
Liu expressed his commitment to continuing to contribute to green building and smart city development. He offered the following advice to current students: HXIT gave me the knowledge and courage to take the entrepreneurial leap. Please treasure your time at institute, master your professional skills, and dare to gain, and dare to gain practical experience. No matter which path you take, you should remain passionate and resilient. HXIT will always be your support, and you are always welcome to come back 'home' for a visit."
