On the morning of April 10, 2026, Liu Xinhua, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director of the Ezhou Supply and Marketing Cooperative Union, led a delegation to visit the Wutonghu Campus of HXIT. Ding Chengzhong, HXIT’s vice president, presided over a special symposium on industry-education integration, attended by the person in charge of the Industry-Education Integration Office and relevant master studios.

Ding Chengzhong introduced HXIT’s application-oriented school-running orientation and the development of 37 industry-academia-research master studios. Zhang Chengfang, director of the Industry-Education Integration Office, reported on the models and achievements of HXIT’s school-local cooperation. Liu Xinhua stated that the Ezhou Supply and Marketing Cooperative has urgent needs in agricultural product e-commerce, smart supply chain management, brand marketing and other fields, and hopes to carry out research and achievement transformation by relying on the intellectual resources of universities.

Representatives from enterprises and Ezhou Economic and Trade School put forward cooperation demands respectively in supply chain digitalization, talent training, skills training and other aspects. HXIT’s leaders of relevant schools  introduced their service capabilities and project cases in brand design, e-commerce operation, new media marketing, finance and taxation services.

The two sides reached a cooperation intention. The Ezhou Supply and Marketing Cooperative Union and its affiliated units will become an important industry-academia-research application cooperation base for HXIT. HXIT’s Industry-Education Integration Office will accurately match enterprise needs, promote school-enterprise collaborative education and the application of scientific research achievements, and support the development of the local economy.
